About the Author

Carol Dekkers journeys through life with the help of her children, her friends, the Royal We, and her co-workers and peers.  Life is an adventure that is seldom predictable, sometimes challenging, but always worthwhile.  Her passion is inspiring people to become their very best – and her blog (The Dekkers Report) is intended to pose food for thought, create a community of like minded friends, and share experiences.  Writing is cathartic – do you agree?

Professionally, Carol is an internationally recognized expert in software measurement and figures prominently as a consultant in  the software industry.  She emphasizes the importance of communication and works to unite the divisions between software users and software developers.

Increasingly, Carol’s expertise is sought out by clients in both the US and internationally – she has consulted and presented to business leaders in over 25 countries.
